Turkey has demonstrated its determination in combating increasing digital crimes. Large-scale cybercrime operations, coordinated by the Ministry of Interior, were carried out simultaneously in 39 provinces across the country, resulting in the apprehension of a total of 361 suspects.

The operations primarily focused on combating fraud, identity theft, illegal betting, ransomware, and other types of cybercrime. The suspects apprehended were found to have victimized citizens through digital platforms and caused significant economic damage.

A statement from the security forces emphasized that the fight against crimes committed in the digital environment will continue uninterrupted, and such operations will be intensified. Citizens were also reminded to be vigilant about cybersecurity and to report suspicious situations to the authorities.
