Turkey and Qatar Partner for Next-Generation Türksat-Biruni Satellite Initiative
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced a significant project that will bolster Turkey's satellite communication infrastructure. As part of this strategic move, a new generation Türksat-Biruni satellite with high data capacity will be integrated into the Türksat fleet through a collaboration established with Qatar.
Global Reach and Strong Service Network
This partnership aims to significantly expand Turkey's satellite communication capacity and global service network. Specifically, plans are in place to establish a stronger and uninterrupted service network across vast geographies such as the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Central Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. The combination of Türksat's robust technical infrastructure and Qatar's Es'hailSat company's regional strength is expected to create new global market opportunities and further solidify both countries' positions in the satellite sector.
